Kolkata - Sundarban
Sundarban Tiger Reserve, biggest Mangrove Forest and a World Heritage site declared by UNESCO in the year 1985. The Sunderban National Park is many things at once, a biosphere reserve, national park and tiger reserve, such is the richness of this mangrove ecosystem. In Sundarban National Park in West Bengal, the tiger makes his round with an unmatched stealth and grace.
Your journey will start in the morning at 8:30 AM (Reporting time: 8:00 AM) from Esplanade/Central Kolkata Area. Refreshments will be served on the way with a brief stopover for tea. On arrival at Godkhali Jetty and embark on the boat. Proceed to our resort through rivers Gomor, Durgadhwani to enter River Pitchkhali, on the bank of which lies the Resort overlooking the Sundarban Tiger Reserve.
Hot Lunch will be served at our resort. After Lunch proceed to Bird's Island and Sunset Point and then check-in to the Resort. The Resort’s people welcome you at their private jetty.
Evening Tea and snacks will be served followed by Tribal Dance performed by the local people of Sundarbans.
Dinner will be served at 9.00 PM.
