Today morning, our guide will take you on the discovery tour of Delhi.

Begin the tour with a visit to unique yet fascinating experience of Old Delhi, the capital of Mughal India during 12th and 17th century.  Drive past the opulent Red Fort towards the 17th century Jama Masjid, one of Asia’s largest mosques. People stream in and out of the mosque continuously and the presence of a nearby bazaar means that the area is rarely quiet. You can hire a private tricycle ride through the lanes of Chandni Chowk, also known as Silver Street. This is perhaps one of Delhi's most populated areas and the largest marketplace. Conclude the tour of Old Delhi with Raj Ghat, a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, father of the nation.z

The discovery of New Delhi starts with a visit to Humayun’s tomb ~ the magnificent structure in red sandstone and white marble, one of the finest examples of the garden tomb and a precursor to the Taj Mahal. Visit Qutab Minar which is Delhi's Eiffel Tower, its Statue of Liberty and Nelson's Column. Drive to one of the most colonial parts of New Delhi called Raisina Hill. Drive past the Viceroy's House, now the residence of the President of India and Lutyen's magnum opus; the India Gate, a war memorial arch.

Later in the afternoon, you will proceed to visit Swaminarayan Akshardham in New Delhi epitomizes 10,000 years of Indian culture in all its breathtaking grandeur, beauty, wisdom, and bliss. It brilliantly showcases the essence of India’s ancient architecture, traditions, and timeless spiritual messages. The Akshardham experience is an enlightening journey through India’s glorious art, values and contributions for the progress, happiness, and harmony of mankind. Heralded by the Guinness World Record as the World’s Largest Comprehensive Hindu Temple, the complex was inaugurated on 6th of November 2005.

Overnight in Delhi

After breakfast, drive to Agra (204 Kms/4 hrs).   Upon arrival in Agra shall proceed fir check-in to your hotel.

Agra - Medieval city situated on the banks of river Yamuna, it came into prominence when a lavish patronage of Mughal rulers created forts, tombs, and palaces in red sandstone and marble inlaid with semi precious stones.

In the afternoon you will visit Taj Mahal (closed on Fridays).  On the death of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, the Mughal Emperor Shahjehan built her this memorial. 20,000 men labored for over 17 years to build this wealth of white marble and precious stone. After the visit you may walk to a shop to take souvenirs.

Later you will explore the Mughal legacy in Agra. Sites to visit include:

Agra Fort, built in the 16th century, this fortress of red sandstone, known as the Red Fort of Agra, encompasses the imperial city of the Mughal rulers.

Marble Inlay workshop and Zardozi, Agra is known for its fine marble work which is made by some of the marble carver descendants who worked on the Taj Mahal. Various semi-precious stones are embedded in marble to create pleasing geometric and floral patterns, similar to those seen in the Taj Mahal. Zardoz, the craftsperson that sets seed pearls and precious stones with fine gold and silver wire, is part of a craft that has flourished within India and been revived over the past 50 years.

Overnight in Agra

After breakfast at the hotel, you will drive from Agra to Ranthambhore (250 Kms/6 hrs) and enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri. The city of Fatehpur Sikhri was built of red sandstone by Mughal Emperor Akbar in the late 16th century and deserted soon after because its water supply failed. It is a perfectly preserved ghost city characterized by a harmonious synthesis of Hindu, Mughal and Persian architectural style. 

After the visit continue to drive to Ranthambhore

Ranthambore National Park is a fascinating blend of history and nature. It is a former royal hunting ground and home to tigers, leopards and marsh crocodiles. The park itself is situated at the joining of the Vindhya Plateau and the Aravalli Hills is characterized by rocky plains and steep cliffs. It supports a diverse range of flora and fauna, including around 30 tigers.

Dinner and overnight in Ranthambore.

Morning and Afternoon you will proceed for Jeep Safari at the National Park.

Take your first canter safari through the forests of Ranthambhore to explore wildlife and biodiversity in this park. Major destination for seeing tigers in their natural habitat plus other wildlife, with scenic ruins. Its landmarks include the imposing 10th-century Ranthambore Fort, on a hilltop, and the Ganesh Mandir temple. The park itself consists of razor-sharp ridges, deep boulder-strewn gorges and a collection of lakes and jungles. The grounds are home to a diverse range of wildlife that, in addition to tigers, include leopards, hyenas, jackals, wild boars, sloth bears and a huge variety of deer and marsh crocodiles. There is also a wide array of birds’ native to the park. Return for breakfast with time to relax and recount your first wildlife sightings.

Today morning you will proceed for another safari to the national park.

After breakfast at the hotel, shall proceed for drive from Ranthambhore to Jaipur (180 Kms/04 hrs). Upon arrival in Jaipur shall proceed to check in to your hotel.

Jaipur ~ presides over the fascinating desert state and its people: surrounded by rugged hills, each crowned by a formidable fort; and beautiful palaces, mansions and gardens dotted throughout its precincts. The palaces and forts of yesteryear that were witness to royal processions and splendour are now living monuments, accepted quite naturally into the lifestyles of the people of the "pink city".  Except for the busy traffic of bicycles, cars and buses, little seems to have changed.  There is a timeless quality to Jaipur's bazaars and its people.  With its historical past, Jaipur revives legends of the ancient Rajputs.  The dresses of the women and the turbans of the men add color to this fascinating city. 

Overnight in Jaipur

Take a morning excursion tour to the Amber Fort.  Maharaja Mansingh, Mughal Emperor Akbar’s most successful General, started the construction of Amber Fort in the 17th century. Before the City Palace was constructed in Jaipur, Amber was the seat of power. With its honey-colored fortress-palace in the Aravalli Hills which can be mounted on the elephant back, Amber has been described as the sleeping beauty of Rajasthan.

Later in the afternoon, you will proceed for the city tour of Jaipur. Sites to visit include:

Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), an elaborate building encrusted with delicate honeycomb screens and carved balconies from which the royal ladies, confined to their quarters, could view the world outside.

Jai Singh’s Observatory was built in the 17th century by the founder of Jaipur who, besides being a prince, was also a soldier, astronomer and builder.

City Palace, a part is now a museum that contains fine Rajput and Moghul paintings, rare manuscripts and armory, old carpets, and embroidered clothes of the Maharajas and the Maharanis. 

Later walk through the colourful bazaars of Jaipur. 

Overnight in Jaipur

After leisurely breakfast at the hotel, check-out from hotel and drive towards Delhi (260 Kms/06 hrs). Upon arrival at Delhi transfer you to the international airport to take the flight for an onward journey.
