In the morning, the safari begins by heading to the leopard locations in the Jawai hills, where we search for leopards and enjoy the breathtaking moment of dawn along with an exhilarating hill drive. After spotting the leopards, we proceed to the backwater of Jawai Dam to observe crocodiles, and migratory birds, and explore Western Rajasthan’s largest water reservoir. This completes the morning leopard safari in Jawai, ensuring you enjoy this experience in the best possible way.

The evening safari starts with a visit to Jawai Dam for crocodile watching, birding, and exploring the region’s largest water reservoir. After a 30-minute tour of the Jawai Dam, we head towards the territory of the Jawai Leopard Reserve, where the chances of spotting leopards are almost guaranteed. While searching for leopards in the Jawai hills, you will experience thrilling hill drives and witness a beautiful sunset. Before the safari ends, we leave the leopard area and drop you off at your designated point in Jawai.

Itinerary

Day 1
JODHPUR– JAWAI BY: SURFACE
Meet, assist upon arrival at Jodhpur Airport. Later you will drive towards Jawai (150 Kms/3.5 hrs). Rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy at the resort.

Jawai, a small village named after the river of the same name has now become an attraction for tourist. The area is mainly known as Jawai Dam because it is located near the dam. Being located at the embankment, Jawai gives you an amazing view of the river.

Adding to its beauty are the granite rocks and hills which surrounds the whole area. Jawai is also known for its sanctuaries for leopards, birds, and crocodiles. It is also called the winter paradise for migratory birds with more than 100 species frequenting every year.

Afternoon shall proceed for Jeep Safari.
