Situated at the foothills of the eastern Himalayas in the Sonitpur district of Assam, Nameri National Park is the last home to the White-winged wood duck, the most endangered species of ducks in India. The national park is also home to a substantial population of elephants. Some of the other animals that can be seen here are capped langurs, wild boars, bisons, giant squirrels, black bears, leopards and sloth bears. Nameri National Park is also home to birds such as hornbills, wood ducks and plovers to bee eaters and babblers making it a favorite among wildlife and nature enthusiasts and photographers.

Early morning go for birding around the camp. Then after breakfast you will proceed for drive from Nameri to Dirang.  Dirang is an unexplored gem, hidden away in the wilderness of Arunachal Pradesh, located at 4910 feet above sea level.  It is 42 km away from Bomdila, a quaint village is a stoppage for many tourists heading towards Tawang from Assam. A major influence Buddhism and Monpa culture can be found here, through the presence of Kalachakra Gompa and Dirang Dzong.

On this interesting day, will visiting wide range of habitats and elevations. This area is famous for its Hot water springs, Apple and Kiwi orchards, National Yak Research and Breeding Centre at Nigmadung, Sheep Breeding Farm and Sangti Valley where Siberian black necked storks visit during winters.

You will found some exquisite species of birds in this area.  They are Yellow-breasted Greenfinch, Little Pied Flycatcher, Rufous Sibia, Spotted or Eurasian Nutcracker, Rufous-breasted Accentor, Whiskered Yuhina (flavicolis), White-collared Blackbird, Striated Bulbul, Wedge-tailed Green Pigeon, Verditer Flycatcher, etc.

Today proceed for drive towards another birds’ paradise place, Egalenest. Eagle Nest's Wildlife Sanctuary prime draw is that it is considered amongst the topmost birding destinations in the World -a birding paradise. There is abundance of bird species -about two dozen babbler, more than 20 types of warbler, sunbirds, flycatchers (ultramarine, slaty blue, white gorgeted,sapphire, dark sided), variety of woodpeckers, laughing thrush etc.

On arrival, check-in to your camp. Afternoon will proceed for birding around the camp.

Today explore full day for birding and to sight various will habitats. Spend a considerable time around the beautiful forest. Spend the entire day inside the sanctuary.

Early morning after breakfast check-out from the camp and drive towards Guwahati. You will drive through the beautiful landscape of eastern Himalayas.
